The first time I learned what an aesthetician does, it changed my life forever. At 16, I had a close friend whose mom was an aesthetician and massage therapist. Watching her work was mesmerizing—but it was the day she gave me a facial and shaped my unruly brows that lit the spark. I looked in the mirror and felt like a whole new person. It was pure magic—and I knew I wanted to be part of it.
That moment ignited my passion. Soon, I was shaping brows for friends after school and even for my boss—long before I had the tools or training I have today. What I did have was drive, talent, and a deep love for helping others feel confident in their skin. Thirty years later, that feeling hasn’t faded—it’s only grown stronger.
