Absolutely Luminous (Luminous Skin Care & Brow Studio) is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We work to meet the recommendations of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at the Level AA conformance level.
Conformance status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to identify and remediate any remaining barriers.
Measures we take
- Automated accessibility scanning of every customer-facing page using axe-core (WCAG 2.2 AA ruleset).
- Semantic HTML structure with logical heading order, landmarks, and skip-to-content links.
- Color contrast that meets the 4.5:1 (text) and 3:1 (UI components) requirements of WCAG AA.
- Keyboard navigation support for all interactive elements with visible focus indicators.
- Alternative text for meaningful images.
- Form labels and error messages designed to be announced by assistive technology.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Older user-uploaded images may have generic or missing alt text. We add descriptive alt text as we audit each image.
- Decorative hero videos do not currently have captions because they have no spoken audio. Audio is muted by default.
- Booking is handled by a third-party scheduling platform whose accessibility we cannot directly control.

This site is designed to work with current versions of:
- Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), TalkBack (Android).
- Browsers: the latest two versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
- Operating systems: Windows 10/11, macOS 12+, iOS 15+, Android 12+.
